Struwwelpeter is a book of children’s cautionary tales by Dr. Heinrich Hoffman, originally published in 1845.
The poems have since seen a translation by Mark Twain, and numerous stage adaptations (one notably featured the doom cabaret trio, The Tiger Lillies.)
